Our mission is to provide a high-quality academic environment in a twenty-first-century school setting that creates and improves student learning, closes the achievement gap, and partners directly with students and their families. Our vision is to create learning opportunities and to bridge the gap for underprivileged students regardless of their socio-economic differences. Our ultimate objective is to produce students who are educated, prepared and who can contribute to American society and become global citizens.

STRATEGIC GOALS
- High-Quality Education – Set high achievable expectations, advance achievement for all students, and reduce disparity between and among groups
- High-Quality Faculty and Staff – Attract, retain, and develop high-quality staff by providing professional development resources and appropriate learning environments.
- Engaged Students and Parents – Nurture the intellectual, physical, and emotional well-being of students and create a safe respectful learning community where all students are held to high expectations.
- Continuous Improvement – Ensure that 80% of students demonstrate above proficiency in Reading, Writing, and Arithmetic within 12 months after their first day of attendance at the Academy (36 months for LEPs/ELLs).
- Community Collaborations and Partnerships – Provide support through community alliances and collaborations to strengthen families and expand access to available resources.
- Safe School Culture – Ensure a positive, safe, nurturing, healthy school environment that is supported by relevant, up-to-date, and current safety measures and school practices.
- Fiscal Responsibility and Accountability – Ensure that our school remains in line with the proper fiscal management protocols in order to operate continuously and effectively and maintain transparency.
